Heather and Cody opted for a multi-day wedding in Marfa and Big Bend, after considering eloping. Many of my couples decide to have a small, intimate wedding in one of their favorite locations as they want to share a memorable weekend of wedding festivities with their closest friends and family.

We kicked off the weekend with a couples session at Big Bend National Park hiking various, secluded locations. Cody and Heather live in Denver, CO, and hiking and the outdoors are part of their everyday lives. It was only natural we documented their love for each other and the outdoors throughout the National Park.

Friday evening was a very laid-back dinner with a magic show at Corte del Norte, a very familiar spot for me. You can view another wedding I have shot at this beautiful location here! After a memorable and fun-filled evening, I ventured around the town of Marfa with Cody and Heather, taking couples portraits prior to their intimate wedding ceremony at Calera Chapel. I loved how calm and laid back the day was, everyone enjoyed the time together, unrushed, savoring each moment…truly what a wedding should be! Calera Chapel is favorite spot of mine and one I have visited frequently.
