Mercury Hall, Modern Winter Wedding in Austin, TX, Drew and Camille

Austin Wedding Photographer

Drew and Camille met in college and shortly after moved to Austin, TX. These two Louisiana natives have a great sense of style and partied the night away with family and friends at Mercury Hall in the heart of Austin! Camille works for Kendra Scott as a Designer. She used her creative eye in every aspect of their wedding. From the overall aesthetic, to invitations she designed and jewelry she selected, this wedding is full of their personalities!

Austin makes the perfect backdrop for any wedding ceremony. This eclectic city offers many unique elopement places, intimate wedding ideas, and a variety of reception venues. Drew and Camille embraced the feel of Austin while capturing their unique style and incorporating their desired wedding ceremony ideas, such as Drew’s grandfather officiating the ceremony. I always encourage couples to select an officiant who knows them well!

Here is what Camille had to say about working with Map + Compass Wedding Photographer and Guide:

“Nicole is a crazy talented photographer and so, so kind! She made us feel so comfortable during our first look and portraits. She ran the show with the perfect combo of structure and go with the flow moments. The photos Nicole captured are both stunning and artful. She also captured the most fun dance floor pics. Literally looks like we’re at a rave and I absolutely love them! I highly recommend Map + Compass!”

Mercury Hall in Austin Texas

A great wedding venue for anyone looking to get married in the heart of Austin. I love how it’s still tucked away in nature, giving it a warm and inviting feel. There are multiple wedding ceremony options, including indoor and outdoor accommodations. This is a bonus when dealing with unpredictable Texas weather!

Although the space is small, there are unique areas perfect for wedding portraits and wedding party photos. As an intimate wedding photographer, I love it when venues provide variety. The building itself combines character and clean lines - a perfect blank canvas for creating the wedding of your dreams!

How to Find an Intimate Wedding Location

Do you love the idea of a small wedding or planned elopement ceremony but aren’t sure how to find the best elopement locations? That’s where Map + Compass Photography comes in. My role in working for couples as they plan their perfect wedding day also includes using my knowledge and experience to help you find the best intimate wedding venues in places like Austin or at the top elopement destinations.

As you look for the best location for your intimate wedding consider what you value as a couple. Do you love outdoor adventures in national parks, or relaxing in trendy and upscale small hotels? Do you want a wedding ceremony with only you and your partner with an intimate reception with family and friends after? When I work with couples, these are a few of the questions I ask to determine the best location for your wedding day.

I work with each couple to create a custom package designed to incorporate your desired details for your wedding. My goal is always to capture the unique moments of your day seamlessly and produce professional images for you to enjoy for a lifetime.
