Moab, Utah Under the Canvas and Backcountry Adventurous Fall Elopement

Moab, UT Elopement Photographer and Planner

Moab holds a special place in my heart. If you follow me on Instagram, you will inevitably witness my love for the desert, especially Moab. The area has served as a source of healing for me physically and emotionally. From the terrain to the people I met, I have never felt so loved and at home. If you haven’t been to Moab, you're missing out!

Jen and Rachael reached out to me well before COVID to plan their fall Moab elopement and thankfully we were able to proceed with the original plans, despite everything going on. From our first FaceTime, there was such intentionality behind their wedding day. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and I was more than happy to help with all the little details to make their wedding day effortless. They wanted to get away from crowds (aka Arches National Park) for their elopement ceremony and portraits to enjoy the terrain and time together. Moab was the first trip they took together as a couple, so it was only natural they tie the knot there! I was able to stand in as the officiant, which made my heart happy in so many ways.

Jen and Rachael wanted their elopement to be documented. No forced moments or poses, which I love and 100% here for! Nothing was contrived. They even picked out the spot where they exchanged their wedding vows once we arrived!

I hope when you look through their elopement images, you're encouraged that a small wedding celebration can be as meaningful and beautiful! If you are interested in planning an elopement in Arches National Park, then check out this blog post for all the details!
